For students
Student membership in the association is an excellent gateway to the world of construction: as a member, you can network with both construction students and colleagues already in the workforce. Student membership is free and covers the duration of your studies. After you graduate, notify RKL of your graduation and your willingness to become a full member. jasenpalvelut@rkl.fi or HRMY info@hrmy.fi office. This way you ensure that you get all the membership benefits. If you have been a student member and decide to continue your membership as a full member after graduation, your membership fee is free for the year of graduation and -50% for the following year, i.e. in 2025, 95€.
You can become a student member when you are studying at an educational institution aiming for a degree in the construction industry, e.g. master builder, civil engineer/Di, construction architect, architect, HVAC and production engineering engineer/Di.
You can become a student member of the association through the umbrella organization RKL. By selecting the "Helsingin Rakennusmestarit ja -insinöörit AMK ry" as your association on the membership form, you will receive student membership benefits from both RKL and the Helsinki local association HRMY.
Student benefits
- As a student member, you will be involved in the activities and events of the active HRMY Youth. The association supports the activities financially. Other clubs also organize activities open to students, which are a good opportunity to network with future colleagues.
- Student members can read the HRMY member magazine in print form on the website. The magazine actively communicates about the association's activities.
- You are welcome to the association's Champion Evenings.
- You can apply for a scholarship for exchange studies.
The umbrella organization RKL offers student members a comprehensive range of benefits, including:

- Possibility of a scholarship upon graduation (300€), as well as a thesis scholarship (500€).
