The wartime period in Helsinki, the years 1939-1944, is described in detail: the period comprises almost a third of the exhibition. The premises even have a basement shelter built to represent a wartime bomb shelter with bombing sound effects. On display are technical artifacts, literature and other material related to the general history of civil protection.”
