The guide from Western Uusimaa is with us from Kirkkonummi to Siuntio.

Travel program:

• In Kirkkonummi, lunch visit to the Pokrova Monastery.

Exploring the private Orthodox monastery established on the former Dannebrog farm and its garden. Enjoy the famous borscht soup made with Father Hariton's recipe, cabbage pie and other delicacies. Opportunity to shop in Pokrova's small boutique, cash only.

• The journey continues along the Royal Road to Siuntio to the Gårdskulla Manor, founded in 1840. The farm is one of the largest and most modern farms in Finland. The Gårdskulla Manor is home to the Gårdskulla Agricultural Museum.

Exploring the manor and afternoon coffee.

• In the 1540s, Viceroy Erik Fleming began construction of the handsome stone manor castle of Suitia in Siuntio, along the Siuntionjoki River. The manor's current appearance dates from the turn of the 1800th and 1900th centuries.
